This event is open to the public, members, family and friends of members, in short anyone who wants to get their LTC or learn about Texas law.  Please consider joining us if you want your License to Carry.  There are many benefits to getting a license, including:

The license to Carry Course is the first step to obtaining a Texas License to Carry a handgun. Course fee does not cover lunch, firearm, ammunition, state licensing fee and fingerprinting. Tuition covers the cost of the course and range fees.

This course will cover the following topics:

• The use of force
• Laws related to carrying a firearm
• The proper handling of firearms
• Non-violent conflict resolution

We will begin with the Classroom portion, located at the Midlothian Pizza Inn, located at 310 N. Highway 67, in Midlothian. We will then travel to the range portion at 2401 Miller Rd., in Midlothian, TX. You will need a computer, tablet or Smartphone to take the written test. for the range you will need to bring:

• A handgun

• At least 50 rounds of ammunition (100 recommended)

• Eye protection

• Hearing protection

• Closed-toed shoes

• An ink pen and any note taking supplies needed

• A computer, tablet or smart phone to take the test

• A desire to learn and have fun
